MAGICAL BACKWATERS, UNFORGETTABLE FACES
AND AN INTENSLEY TROPICAL LANDSCAPE

India has remained high on my list for as long as I have been in love with travel and after spending a few more days than planned in Sri Lanka's favourite surf spot Arugam Bay, it was finally time to go. I decided to start at the bottom, in the South West state of Kerala, a place hugely popular amongst local and foreign travellers alike, famous for its beaches, backwaters and gorgeous tea-covered hillscapes. A world a way from the energetic and frenetic India we've come to know through movies and stories, Kerala was a serenely beautiful introduction to a country so overflowing with colour, charisma and culture...
