This September I joined a team of thirteen on a 14-day trekking experience to Everest Base Camp and back again. We were able to bear witness to some of the worlds most captivating landscapes, from dense green forests to the snow-capped mountains of the fascinating Himalayas, eventually finding ourselves at the centre of it all - Everest Base Camp. Everyday was a new adventure that not only offered us breathtaking views, but an insight into the unique Sherpa culture and a glimpse into the dramatic history of this incredible mountain.
